S.O.S.

I have lost my datebook/calendar. It was on my desk and now it's gone. Or, it was in my purse and now it's gone. Or, maybe it was in the car. No matter, it's gone! I've turned the house upside down and cannot find it anywhere.

Please, if any of you know of something I'm supposed to do--a meeting, luncheon, dental appointment (um, scratch the dental appointment), hair cut, manicure, vacation in the south of France, etc.--for the remainder of this year, please let me know.

  1. My dear Catholic mother was always the best source for when I had lost something. She would say a prayer to St. Anthony, patron saint of lost items. Now that she is gone.. well, I just relax and wait for the lost item to reappear... and it usually does. Try not to fret.

  2. This is an absolute scream!! What is this place, can you go inside? My mom used to say "I haven't lost it, I just don't know where it is yet".

  3. It's an awful feeling, isn't it? BTW, when we went to Beaufort we did not go to Charleston, we were on our way to FL. Sounds like you recognized the restaurant where we ate lunch?

    That's a great photo!

  5. Oh my goodness! I am so sorry! What a tragic loss! I'd be lost without my planner!
Well, maybe it is a freeing feeling too! Just think of it as a day off!
    Hope it turns up.

  10. I have photoshop 7 and photoshop elements 6 and also Microsoft Digital Image 9.
to make your decision, on Photoshop. elements 8 will do almost anything you could want to do and runs about 100.00 the 2000.00 big gun Photoshop you would need if you are really serious and want to work really hard. Elements is quick and easy and not that hard to learn, the big one is more difficult. just for playing with photos, elements is fine. i suggest you get it and try it and after you conquer it if you need MORE go for the big one.

  13. Oh no!! Perhaps it is just lying under a newspaper, or something silly like that.
it is such a bad feeling though when you can't find something.
Not too long ago I lost two, count them, two gorgeous pens, one was a Waterman, the other was a Cartier. They were in a leather pen case in my purse. Very sad to say, that they are lost for good. I guarded those pens faithfully, and have no clue where they could have gone :( I really hope that is not you case though.

  15. Bonnie...maybe your dog knows something you don't know?
If that doesn't work...let it go and surely enough...as soon as you stop looking...there it will be right in front of you!
Keep us posted. Love the creative pic!

Ciao for now and flavourful wishes,
    Claudia

  17. I always tell people that I spend more time looking for things I have lost than anything else I do in the house. I tell my kids I have sometimers!!!

  18. This is exactly why I don't use a day-timer, I can never find it.
