This is Me!

A few of you have asked me to post a photo of myself.  Since I have no other post for today, here I am.  Keep in mind this was taken with a point and shoot and is unaltered.  I will look better after being photographed with a better camera and photoshopped.  Stefan thinks I look as if I'm begging him to stay another week.  Hmmm, what do you think?

We had a good morning in Chicago with a stop at Fox and Obel to stock up on bread.  Afterwards, we had brunch at a new restaurant near U.I.C..  Then we took ourselves to Whole Foods.  We should have stopped at an exercise place but, instead, came home.  I had a nap.

See you soon!

  1. I love Fox and Obel. I found it once when strolling in Chicago when i was there for a Pampered Chef conference. I love all the stuff you can find there.

A store here that we have that I love to go to is the Fresh Market. I feel like I'm in a candy store or a toy store when I'm there.

  2. I think you're cute just as you are and don't need ANY photoshopping!!!

I don't know - - - when my kids have been here for a while, if I were in that pose, I'd be praying they were going HOME soon!

Gotta love 'em - - - gotta love it when our world returns to quiet!

  3. You look great and it is so nice to put a face with the wonderful writing. Whole Foods...it is like a dream come true. Much better than shopping for clothes, in my estimation.

  4. I think you look great...no need for photoshop!!

Oh, and you left a comment on my post about how the old movies don't have all the steaminess so prevalent in today's movies. Like you, that's one of the reasons I like them so much. I really don't need to see nudity and graphic sex. I can understand what's going on without all that. Really, I'm not an idiot!! I really think that less is more.

    Have a lovely week.

    Hugs,
    Patti

  6. There you are! You don't need a photo-shopping. :-) You are somewhat what I pictured you in my mind--funny how we form those images through what people write. And I think you might be thinking that toward your son. But off he will go. Sounds like you made the best of the time together, and was nice to have him there for the camera advice! Thanks for letting me know about the doll house!

  8. I love seeing my special blog friend's faces.. It makes me feel as if I know you better... You are a beautiful woman!!!! I used to hide from the camera (because of my weight).. But then I realized that I was still a good person --even if I was overweight.... George had something to do with that also --since he loves me for ME.....

Hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow. Thanks SO much for sharing, Bonnie.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  12. Oh my gosh, what a special post!! I am tickled pink!! Of course, I have been wanting to know what you look like. I think we all want to know what any of our close blog friends look like! But I would never ask you to post a picture, because some people don't want their picture on the web, and others are just uncomfortable with the way they look. You are a beautiful blonde with big blue eyes!! What a surprise, my mental picture of you was so different. Older, for one. Maybe I thought you would be older because you write very mature. But you look in your thirties, maybe forty! Isn't it funny how we can form a mental image of someone we've never seen, with no basis in fact? Now when I think of you and write to you, I will have the right picture in my head, and such a pretty one!

  16. Great photo and good for you getting the new camera! It took me a while to get used to it after the old reliable point and shoot and the settings were daunting at first but now, thanks to all the great tips on sites like whiteonrice and pioneer woman, I am feeling like the Nikon is my friend and not my adversary. Have fun and thanks for letting us see your glowing face!

  30. Your picture is lovely, Bonnie. I just hate to have mine taken and avoid it at all costs.

Fox and Ebel is one of my favorite places when I come to Chicago to visit my daughter. I love to browse in there
