The Culprit

This small 3 x 5 rectangular box seems to have been the cause of all my computer problems over the past month.  It's the WiFi router that is less than six months old.  It, according to the young man I pulled in off the street, is "FRIED".  In that case, I guess this counts as a food post.

Have a great weekend.

  2. I love anything fried...except when it comes to electronics.

  3. Was that fried as in a nice crispy crunchy golden brown... I dare say from the looks of it, you need to pop it back in the oil a few more minutes.

Serve it with some country gravy and...yum!

  4. Wow, that's terrible that it was so new!!! Our old one lasted for years. Hopefully, the new one will last as long.

I hope your new one doesn't give you any grief. And have a great weekend!

  6. It looks a little under done to me, why not plop it back in the hot oil a few minutes?

Glad you are back up and running again.

  8. How did it get fried when it's less than six months old?? Well, how were you to know, since it's practically new! It looks more like a modem than a router to me, our router has little antenna, but I'm so bad about all this stuff! Well, so glad your problem is solved!!

  11. So, this is why the tech is coming Monday morning! We can't get a dial tone on the land line, guy said it was the router. We didn't have one bit of trouble until we got wifi installed.

Hey, if you throw in another router, you'v got gumbo. I'll add some shrimp, too.

  12. Don't you just love technology??
I laughed so hard at your "multi-tasking" story.
    Are getting a new router???

    Happy Spring Sunday to you.

  13. Well, at least you know what the culprit is that has caused such havoc; and such a little thing! Yes, I do find it interesting that I asked that question right before you burned your cake...but glad it was okay to eat. I'm glad i stopped because I'm looking for a recipe of something to make for our neighbor. We had a half dump truck of mulch and a half dump truck of top soil delivered yesterday so of course, guess what our day entailed?

But the good thing is? Our neighbor came over to offer his assistance and the job was done by 4;00..WE WERE SO THANKFUL!!! So I want to make something for his family and he has three little ones...any ideas?

  16. Oh dear :(

Yes, I have been to French Laundry :) It was sublime I must say. We went for our 25 wedding anniversary. I would love to go back again some time.
We also went to Meadowood in Napa that was just awarded 3 stars. Hated it, and it is nowhere near in the same range as French Laundry.
Have you been to "Alinea" in your neck of the woods? I saw that chefs amazing food, and he certainly deserves three stars.

Hated it, and it is nowhere near in the same range as French Laundry. We went there when it only had two stars, and at the time I didn't think it even deserved that. I guess the chef really must have somehow charmed someone. If you want a laugh, go on "Yelp" reviews, and mine is on there. I think if you go to the SF one and then type in Meadowood, you will see my review. The general manager actually messaged me back too. Very low class!
