Traveling

My bags are (almost) packed and I'm (almost) ready to go.  I'm off to visit Stefan, Elyssa, Mellville, Hawthorne, Alcott, and Emerson to name a few. Andrew and Oliver are staying at home to spring clean the yard.  I'm trusting them to the job!

You may all come along if you like.  Just sign in to my daughter-in-love's new blog, Cuisine de Fancy.   Elyssa is a wonderful, writer, photographer and cook.

Her blog header is a cake she made for my son's birthday--ooey, gooey chocolate goodness!  You will want to check in and check out her technique on this one.

I have a few posts in the queue for you while I'm away.  I'll be checking in on all of you as often as possible as I don't like to miss anything!

  6. Bonnie, Enjoy you trip! I have quite the itch to travel too! I'll have to hop on over to you daughter-in-law's blog. Thanks for stopping by my place to say hello! =) As for the fairystones... I thought I'd google them, just in case you're not as eccentric as I am *blush* (It would not be unlike me to take the kids out to look for sparkly rocks and call them fairystones! lol). Anyway, you totally made my day!!! We've only been in VA since July so I hadn't heard of them. I live just outside of DC and I haven't really found anywhere nearby that has the staurolite BUT I am on the hunt! I can't wait to blog about this when I do find some! I will be sure to mention your blog when I do. Thanks for making this silly girl's day! ;)
