"UNCLE"

I finally cried "UNCLE" and gave up my old e-mail.  With it, the "mouse" wouldn't let me click and get into my e-mail and I have been very disconnected the last ten days or so.  It's amazing to me that A.T.&T couldn't help.  I've now switched to g-mail, something my children have said I should do for years.  Seems they were right!  So, my new e-mail is on my "comments" page.  You can now e-mail me.

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions regarding my e-mail problem as well as how to put a "print" button on my blog.  That is something I'm going to work on as soon as I clear my brain of the e-mail dilemma.

I have no new recipe today.  We are eating leftovers!!

Again, thank you!

  1. Wahoo on changing. I hear G-mail is good.

Now if you have any suggestions on getting a person to eat leftovers let me know. That is a problem in my house. I love them... taste better after they sit a day or two but honeyman shunds the thought.

  6. Me to! I am not home but have my laptop with me. I can still receive from my vianet provider, but cannot send out; very frustrating when trying to contact my kids; they thought something had happened to us.
Tried with my gmail account and it Worked!
Plus all my add that are in my Outlook magically appeared in my gmail contact. I don't know how this happened but I am so happy.

  7. Oh dear, Bonnie, I feel your pain. I would love to change my email provider but I've had the same one for so many years and just feel it's too much trouble. One of these days I will be sufficiently fed up to just go for it. Hope you like G-mail.

  9. Bonnie,

I have yahoo and g-mail. I like them both. When you figure out that print recipe "thing", I would be interested. Google docs was confusing so now I am going to try google sites!!!

  15. Hi Bonnie, Glad you changed --but I still cannot for the life of me wonder what could have caused all of the other problems.... CRAZY!!!!!

The good thing about a new email address is that you won't get near as much junk mail as you did --for awhile... The bad thing is that you need to take the time and remember to let everyone know your new email address --that you want to know it!!!!

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  16. G-mail is a lot easier isn't it? Plus you get lots of storage, which is helpful if you are sending pictures.

  18. A dauphinois gratin would be perfect with the addition of sweet potato. Now, why had I not thought of that...especially since I love sweet p.

Btw...I always substitute out the whipped cream...never missed it. If ever you'd like my recipe, let me know ;o)
In truth, Bonnie...I rather keep the extra calories on dessert...hope you understand ;o)

    Ciao for now,
    Claudia
