Where in the World am I?

If it's Thursday, that's San Francisco and, I think, the Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill.

Still Thursday.  This must be the grapefruit tree in our son's back yard.  No, wait, those are lemons the size of grapefruit.

If you look very closely between the trees, you'll see the Golden Gate Bridge in a slight fog.

Progressively better photos to come!!

  1. I love SF - hope you are having a great time. Lemon trees in our back yard . . . wouldn't that be handy.

No, I can't believe they will have the market closed during your visit!! Boo hiss! Bonnie, have you tried a place downtown (I think it was Thelma's -- Chicken and Waffles????). I'll have to check with Amanda, but oh, my goodness!

  4. Wow!!! Well first thing I would do is pick all those lemons and smuggle them back home, what can he do, you're his mom! Great pictures, can't wait to see and hear more, maybe close-up bridge pictures and trolleys!! And the FOOD! Home of sourdough bread?

I loved your comment about my cake- I can just visualize you and your sisters jumping up and down in the kitchen, just to make your mom's cake "sad!"
