Our market was bustling this morning despite the intense heat. We've had several 90+ days but a cold front is on the way that promises to drop the temperature into the mid-60s tonight. Maybe a little rain will mix in. Our thoughts go out to Louisiana and Mississippi that is really being inundated with rain.
This week we'll be feasting on eggplant, onions, pretty peppers, a mixture of petite summer squash, beets and their greens and, at last,
an array of lovely tomatoes.
Wishing all of you a pleasant and safe Labor Day weekend.
