held a promise of snow.
Would the party happen?
The guests were scattered
and in the snow's path.
Hopeful,
I prepared the table.
They made it!
Each birthday lady found a flowered bag
on the back of her chair
in which
to tote her party gifts home.
Flavorful Favors

so happy they got there through the snow, but even if they had not you could have just sat and stared at your beautiful table and enjoyed it and shared it with US.
Happy birthday to your friends! So glad they made it through the snow and I am sure everyone attending though the trip was well worth it. Nicely done!

It looks wonderful. You are gathering your friends to celebrate your birthday, right? I think that's a wonderful plan! Glad they could make it. And now it sounds like you are really getting a storm there. We are getting a little bit of sympathy drizzle.

I'm glad the weather didn't interfere with your annual party. You set a beautiful table and the food sounds wonderful. I'll be waiting for the recipes. Have a great weekend. Blessings...Mary
What a lovely celebration! The table looks beautiful and I like the elegant touch of the flowered bag and gift favors.
Your party went better than mine. I had to plan the county Farm Bureau's Holiday dinner and meeting. I started with a count of 40 before I left for Hawaii, came home and on Wednesday, I had to knock the number down to 30. Friday night a grand total of ten showed up. The good part was we were all able to take home part of the wonderfully catered meal prepared for us. UGH!
Oh how much fun! I love the bags and favors and the cake looks amazing
