Happy Easter

Snow is in the forecast for tonight.  I can hardly believe it to be true!!  Oh well, I'm getting out of town for a vacation in New England.  The Baker and the dalmatian will be here to shovel if necessary.  I'm hoping they'll be enjoying seeing the grass greening, the trees leafing out and flowers popping their pretty heads out of the ground.

This haughty hare
joins me in wishing each of you
a joyous Easter
and
a happy spring!

  1. Happy Easter, Bonnie!

We had 6 inches of snow yesterday, so you must be getting ther same storm that passed through here. The sun is out again today and the melt is on--we did not even shovel. It was in the 70's last week and beginning to green up but now we will have to wait again for Spring to re-appear.

    Enjoy your trip!

  4. I just cannot BELIEVE more snow!!! Love your terminology, he does indeed look haughty! Where did you acquire him and where does he live at Easter? How long will you be gone...visiting friends? I hoe you have a grand time, and maybe bring me back some pictures!

  5. Ooh, I hope the weather there changes...and soon. My daughter is visiting friends who live in Central Illinois, and they are making a day-trip to Chicago this weekend. It will be her first-ever trip to Chicago, and while I know she'll have a ball no matter what the weather, a bit of warmth and no snow would be nice for all the walking they intend to do.

Easter blessings to you...and a great trip to New England.
