New Year's Eve 2014

Happy 2015!

Our end-of-the-year dinner brought dear friends to our table.
Andrew planned the entire menu and executed it.  I set the table and lit the candles.

Champagne glasses lined up
waiting for the guests.

French peasant bread from La Fournette

Bigos (Hunter's Stew)

Standing by for dessert.

Le Formidable aux trois cremes
et aux trois liqueurs
(Translation:  Delicious!)

A few guests had seconds.
I won't name names!!

Spirited dinner conversation.

and then....

Out came the cell phones!!

No, they weren't texting or talking.
Rather, they were showing off their adorable granddaughters
born in 2014.

As always, we had an interesting, delicious and fun time together.

Did we ring in the new year?
Yes, we just weren't sure where!!

Our 30 something kids impressed themselves! Looks like you had a great time, Bonnie. Great way to start the new year.

I always enjoy hearing from you, my blogging friends.
