Christmas Cards Found!

I found the Christmas cards!  Last year, it seemed a good idea to put all the cards in this colorful bag. While it was, I couldn't remember exactly what I'd put them in or where I'd put what I put them in.  Were you able to follow that?  I spent days passively looking for them.  While pulling a coat out of the guest room closet, a spot of bright green caught my eye and there they were.  Now to find my quill and ink.

Have a great day!

  3. This is exactly the kind of thing I do!!! I straighten up and put things in good places, then can't find any of them later!! I'm glad to know my memory has not reached nitwit stage yet! SO glad you found them and did not give in and buy more!

  6. Ah, Bonnie, sounds just like something I would do. I often wonder how I can still lose things in our smallish apartment.

  7. So you must have bought them at the end of season on sale and tucked them away? Sounds very familiar! I'm sure your friends will truly appreciate a hand-written card! They are becoming rare!

  9. That was always a big joke between me and Ma, 'put it somewhere so you'd remember where it was':@) Sounds like you're chipping away at the to-so list!

  11. I'm famous for putting things in a "safe" place, never to be seen again.

  12. Glad you found that little bag and pretty cards. My mom always asked me where she put something, and I knew most of the time. Now, I can hardly find anything. It unnerves me and I'll have to start making a list of where I put things! LOL!!! My cards are in the mail, thankfully and good luck with yours, Bonnie. Maybe you could teach Oliver to retrieve stuff for you. :-)

  15. So funny - I am doing exactly that tonight - looking for our cards. And like you, I have been passively looking. Maybe this is the night I will find them. Thanks for the hope! Love the Cavallini Christmas Botanica postcards!

  16. Glad you found them in time to send them out for Christmas, Bonnie. My husband and I always remember where we have put things.....but what we are remembering is where those things were in our prior house in Brooklyn--lol!

  17. Hello There, I enjoyed your post today. Glad you found your cards. I am always doing that ---putting something is a 'safe' place never to be found. ha

Sorry I haven’t been around much lately. I do try to read blogs—but just haven’t commented very much lately like I usually try to do. Please don’t give up on me. Hopefully my life will be back to ‘normal’— whatever that is (ha), sometime in January.

I did get a cortisone shot in my knee —which has helped with the pain somewhat. In January, I will most likely have meniscus tear surgery…. BUT—in the meantime, I plan to have a fantastic Christmas —and hopefully get to see my kids/grands… God is Good.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  18. Ha! I'm happy to know I'm not the only person who does that. At least you found them before Christmas and not right after. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year.
